Lafayette City-Parish President Joey Durel joined Habitat for Humanity Staff at the ReStore location to celebrate its one year anniversary . In its first year, the ReStore brought in nearly $70,000, which is helping to build a new Habitat for Humanity home.
Lafayette City-Parish President Joey Durel joined Acadian Ambulance CEO Richard Zuschlag for the ribbon cutting of the new Safety Management Systems facility. The facility is located at 2916 N. University. Safety Management Systems provides effective solutions to companies who have an interest in implementing or improving their safety management process, and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Acadian Ambulance Service.

Lafayette City-Parish President Joey Durel joined Hank and Debbie Perret, members of the Perret family, and others from the community for the ribbon cutting of the Miles Perret Mobile Unit. The mobile unit will allow the Miles Perret Center to provide services throughout Acadiana.
